Where better to study coding than at The University of Manchester – the birthplace of modern computing and home of the world’s first stored-program digital computer, ‘The Baby’, which was built here in June 1948.
The programme will be hosted in the Kilburn Building, home to the first university department of Computer Science (in 1964) and a world-leading pioneer in software and hardware research.
The University is committed to reducing barriers to study by attracting outstanding pupils irrespective of their backgrounds. The Coding Boot Camp offers a flexible pathway to gaining key, in demand skills, with no prior degree required to participate. For more information on entry requirements see the FAQs.
