Thomas Buckley

Programme: Coding

About Thomas: Tom first started working in tech as an SEO contractor, helping firms improve their organic reach across search engines. Here he would advise clients the different changes that needed to be made to their website, but eventually he got bored of only being able to recommend changes and wanted to be able to implement them himself. As a full time buyer, part time contractor, Tom began self teaching programming in his spare time and eventually enrolled in a 6 month coding bootcamp. Just over half way through the bootcamp he secured an engineering role with booking.com, completed the course, and began pursuing his passion. Tom has since progressed and is currently working on a large re architecting project working with a growing SME. Tom leads his organisation’s Front End guild that is committed to helping other engineers gain competency in all things front end.
